    Do you still miss me?

    He asked me in a dream. I couldn’t say no. 

    Because I missed him more than I missed me.

    He left without the love I have in my heart.

    That love still rots with my soul. 

    It feels fresh but rots like it’s old.

    The wind still blows, the breath is still going on,

     The pain is now a habit like it was before.

    Left with no choice of my own,

     I sunk everyday in the ocean of my choking tone…

    Pretending is my day job now,

    Tears are my night time moans.


    I fought for a long time.

    Fought for my own peace of mind.

    Fought with myself and with time, as it heals everything,

    I thought it would heal my broken heart & free me from this crime!

    The crime I commit every second,

     To love him & lose myself to the man I lost without reason.

    Or may be there was a reason, 

    That my love was too much to bear, 

    And for me, he had none to share.

    Don’t be fooled though, I know he cares.

    There’s no point, yet, it’s something to despair. 


    And so, just like that, I accepted the truth.

    The truth, that there’s no un-loving once you fall in love that’s true.

    It’s okay. I have accepted that I will remain in love for eternity.

    I know how to handle it with tranquility.

    I will pretend in the day and face it all at night.

    I will think about him in my daydreams and will go on with my life……

  • What Money Can’t Buy!

    And we can’t live without ….

    I am sure you all must have a story, where you did a small thing for someone else selflessly, and it made you feel something you can’t explain till date. I have felt it myself. Once, I was out with my friends, we were standing outside a shopping mall waiting for another friend. Suddenly, a little girl came upto me. I presumed she’s going to ask for money or food because her mother and her siblings were sitting on the ground nearby. But she didn’t. She asked for a tiny hair clip that I was wearing. She pointed at my hair and asked for it. Just like that. It made me smile. I gave the clip to her and she went off. No money, no food. Just the hair clip. She went back to her family. Normal. But for me, it was a memory of a lifetime. The emotions I felt in that moment are more precious to me. It was a little thing, happened in fraction of seconds, yet gave me the happiness many hours couldn’t give.

    It was a realisation that we don’t feel happy all the time. We can’t. We also can never find therapy in shopping or eating out. The bad days should be dealt with how the good days are- by living them. Amidst all these motivational talks, self-help videos and books, there is a lack of sense and logic. Not entirely, because sometimes you need someone to push you and that’s when these content creators help but what happens when even their words aren’t enough? Even the motivation won’t help you to find something what you’re looking for.

    I am sharing a link to a video below, because everyone deserves the emotions I felt after watching this. Everyone deserves to feel like the guy felt in the video by doing all the things he did. He did it out of love, kindness, compassion and empathy. These emotions are human’s biggest assets. Not the assets we keep investing in, in the stock markets or real estate or even buying expensive things to keep you sane. Those are long-term liabilities. They can never make us happy. (Sometimes it feels good to not being able to afford such stuff). The assets that money can’t buy. Our emotions are the assets we must invest in everyday.

  • HOW TO GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR 21 DAYS

    With sleep in my eyes and a cup of tea on the side, I start my Day 01 of the NEW 21 days nationwide lockdown cycle! That sounds heavy, but is it really that tough? 3 weeks! 21 Days! 504 hours! Is it even enough?

    With the Covid-19 pandemic, the world is facing economic failures , people are losing lives and it still isn’t stopping! It hit India almost a month ago I guess, and until now more than 600 people have been infected of the corona virus. To break the spread cycle, last night the Prime Minister announced a nationwide lockdown starting midnight – for 21 DAYS! People lost their minds, they still are. But Panic isn’t the solution. Patience is. It is our responsibility as human beings, to take steps within our reach , so that we can go back to our normal lives. For that, all we’re asked is to STAY HOME!

    I understand, 21 days seem a lot, but YOU can make it easier and make the best out of them. Starting right now, reading this is your first step. Right now, we have been given the best gift of all- TIME. Embracing it is going to bring out the best in us.

    Hence, this is not just about the coming 21 days. This is about ANY 21 DAYS. As a proven fact, it takes 21 days for a human brain to form a habit. So.

    WHERE TO START?

    Easy right?

    IT IS EASY. To make it easier for you, I am going to break it day wise so that you understand better, the extreme positive effects of the 21 days we’ve embarked on.

    But there are obstacles, it isn’t that easy. There can be two scenarios. Let’s understand them one by one.

    SCENARIO – 01

    DAY 01: You’ll sleep, surf the internet, binge watch, eat, roam around, yawn, sometimes work and repeat- and wait for 21 days to be over.

    YES. YOU SKIPPED. KINDLY SKIP SUCH HABITS IN REALITY, IF YOU WISH TO TAKE OUT THE BEST OUT OF THESE DAYS.

    NOW, LET’S BE SERIOUS AND REALLY GET INTO THE 21 DAY HABIT CHALLENGE!!!

    SCENARIO – 02

    DAY 01: You are reading this post and realise that I might be right. Or may be not. You already have a habit/routine that you follow and it’s best for you. So you chill. The ones, who don’t and are attracted to Scenario 01 (above)- You are thinking about taking up the 21DaysHabitChallenge. It’s a good start. Sleep on this thought.

    DAY 02: You wake up and realise you’re going to stay home for a next few days. You wish to do something about it. You check your phone and put it down because , aren’t you tired of seeing the same things every morning?! You decide to workout today. Starting this day, but how? I will help you with that. There’s a website https://centr.com/ by Chris Hemsworth and he is giving away the membership FREE for the next 6 weeks! I have started using it and IT IS AMAZING. Try it. Exercise and workout is one of the many habits we must form.

    DAY 03: You worked out yesterday and you feel better about yourself. Now you feel energised to do something more. After this day’s workout, you decide to cook a healthy meal for yourself. You calculate the ingredients you have and what can be made out of them. You do. It tastes heavenly, doesn’t it!!!

    DAY 04: You wake up at the same time you did yesterday. Your sleep is better. You workout, cook yourself a great breakfast and pick up your laptop. You go through different websites in search of something. Then you come across https://www.udemy.com/ , A website for online courses. You look it up and see that the courses are briefly accessible at an affordable price. You buy one course that interests you best. you start to study. You feel like you’re in college again. You want this feeling to stay and you continue with the course until it’s finished.

    DAY 05: You have three things to do daily in your routine- workout, cook, study. You feel a bit lazy today, but you still go through all these things. Now you want more. You want to read things that are different and the things available at one place. You come across https://medium.com/ . You read the articles there and you are intrigued. But now you’re bored. You want some entertainment. So you start to binge watch.

    DAY 06: You slept late last night as you were watching a web series and hence, you woke up late! Missed your workout! Didn’t feel like cooking and not at all energised to study! You lie down the whole day, scrolling through your phone. But you don’t like this feeling, do you? You wasted the day in procrastination and daydreams… Now it’s upto you, how you want your tomorrow to be!

    DAY 07: Today is the end of the first week out of 3 weeks! You started off good but you’re having anxiety about your own decisions, that led to an entire waste of the day yesterday!!! Now, you want to cease everyday you have. You don’t want to feel like you felt yesterday!!!!!

    WHAT DO YOU DO?

    DAYs 08-09-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20-21 ARE UPTO YOU.

    Call To Action:

    There can be many different interests for different people, yet everyone can bring out best from them. I have been doing gardening, making my own clay from garden soil to make pottery (learnt from youtube), singing, writing, reading, cooking, cleaning, exploring the internet for information that can help me grow, studying an online course, binge watching, working out, eating, sleeping and REPEATING it all…. 24 hours-12 hobbies. One plus or minus sometimes (painting or learning a new language or an instrument). I am able to do all this because of the blessing of technology and understanding it’s utilisation for the best of me. You can do this too…
